"Energy of the future" in the focus of the women's community

​​​​​​​The Second International Forum of Women got started in Astana. The event is held within the framework of the EXPO—2017. In addition, under the auspices of the Forum there was a photo exhibition "Women who changed the world."

Organizers of the Forum are international organizations such as “EXPO Women” and “G-Global” and Public Fund “Social Dinamics together with The Library of the First President and the OSCE Program Office in Astana. Along with representatives of the regions of Kazakhstan, women from Russia, Italy, the United States, Finland and other countries participated in a meeting.

While discussing "Energy of the future: women, business and the global economy" participants proposed to create the forum "EXPO Women" at EXPO exhibitions.

The chairman of the “EXPO Women” presidium, a member of the Council on the transition to a green economy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Saltanat Rahimbekova believes that women should work more actively in the field of green technologies. She emphasises that in our country there are real achievements in environmental issues, which testify to the high potential of women.

Furthermore, organizers awarded the winners of the republican competition "Coca Cola belesteri". 

The third international women's forum will be in Dubai.
