Olga Rypakova won a bronze medal in the triple jump

Olympic champion in triple jump Olga Rypakova brought Kazakhstan the first medal at the World Athletics Championships in London.

Rypakova showed her best result in the third attempt with a jump of 14.77 meters. This is her best result of the season. Earlier the Kazakh athlete qualified for the finals from the first place, spending only one attempt.

The gold medal went to Venezuelan athlete Yulimar Rojas with a result of 14.91 meters.  The second was Catherine Ibarguen from Colombia, ceding the winner two millimeters (14.89).
