Sagintayev met the PM of Afganistan

Bakytzhan Sagintayev discussed with the Head of the Executive Power of Afghanistan issues about further development of trade and economic cooperation between two countries

Today in Government house, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with the Head of the Executive Power of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah, who arrived in Kazakhstan with an official visit, primeminister.kz reports.

During the meeting, parties discussed issues such as further development of trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of the agreements by the heads of the two states during the visit of Afghan President A. Ghani to Astana in November 2015.

In addition, participants considered measures to improve the transit potential of the region and prospects for bilateral cooperation in the construction of railways. Moreover, parties discussed issue of continuing interaction between countries in education.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev congratulated Abdullah Abdullah with the national holiday - the Independence Day of Afghanistan.
