Since the opening of the exhibition the sphere "Nur Alem" is in the top of the visited objects of EXPO-2017. Every day it has from 10 to 28 thousand visitors. For the entire time of the exhibition, about 50 presidents and heads of governments visited the main attraction of EXPO-2017.

"Nur alem" is an architectural symbol of the exhibition EXPO-2017. It is the largest spherical building in the world, its diameter is 80 meters, and its height is 100 meters. It is the first building in the world in the form of a full sphere. In the design of the facade, integration of photovoltaic elements is proposed, allowing the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. Also in the upper part of the sphere, there are two wind turbines, partially providing the building with energy.

According to the concept of post-exhibition use, at the end of Astana-EXPO-2017, Nur Alem will become the Museum of the Future and will continue to function as a sightseeing place.
