The Head of State sent a telegram to Gennady Golovkin. The Kazakh boxer GGG had a match for world titles by WBA, WBC, IBO, IBF and The ring, held in Las Vegas, USA.

"Millions of Kazakhstanis in a single fit were hotly rooting for you, and you showed unbending will and highest skill, withstood the fierce competition in a stubborn and uncompromising battle.

Let your professionalism, tremendous efficiency, deserved authority and, most importantly, unlimited devotion to your business serve as a guarantee of bright achievements in the future, "the telegram reads.

In conclusion, the President of Kazakhstan wished the boxer good health and success in his future career.

Let us remind you that the fight Golovkin-Canelo took place on the September 16 evening at the T-Mobile arena. The judges could not determine the winner after 12 rounds, and announced a draw (118-110 Alvarez, 115-113 Golovkin, 114-114).

The judges’ decision caused a lot of controversy in the boxing society. The biggest resonance caused Judge Adelaid Bird’s decision, who put 118-110 in favor of Canelo.

Thus, Golovkin interrupted a series of 37 wins in a row and for the first time in his career ended the fight with a draw. On the account of "Canelo" are now two draws with 49 wins and 1 defeat.
