A Georgian wrestler won a world championship on Kazakh kuresi

Last weekend wrestlers from all over the world participated in the world championship on Kazakh kuresi in Astana. Kazakh kuresi is the national type of wrestling which is similar to judo. In absolute weight category, a Georgian wrestler has become a world champion.

On the final attempt, Guga Kibordzadze won wrestler from Tajikistan Dadakhon Kurbanaliev. Thereby he received $ 5,000 for his gold medal.

Kazakh fighter Aibat Seiten lost to Dadakhon Kurbanaliev in the quarterfinals.

Let us remind you, Kazakh athletes won six gold and one silver medals at the World Championship.

On the first day of the competition, the Kazakhs became champion. In the weight range up to 55 kg, Marat Nyumatullaev excelled, in weight to 82 kg the owner of the gold medal became Ersultan Muzafarov, and the third "gold" in the weight range up to 90 kg got Adilzhan Ystybayev. In the heaviest weight, Ruslan Abdrazakov won the third place.
