Kazakhstan has the lowest salary among the EAEC

The minimum wage of Kazakhstan is one of the lowest salaries among the Eurasian Economic Union countries (EAEC), reports LS, referring to the data of the statistics and central banks of the countries.

In 2018, the minimum wage of Kazakhstan increased by 14 percent, which is grown from 24,459 tenge to 28,284 tenge. However, it is still below $100. The lowest salary is in Kyrgyzstan, after Kazakhstan, it shows only $17. In November 2017, the Kyrgyz government concerned that the minimum wage in the country is less four-five times than the subsistence minimum.

 The largest amount of the minimum wage in the EAEC provides in Russia, which is $164.6.  In Belarus, the rate is less than 10 dollars. The minimum income also exceeds $100 in Armenia.
