The largest volume of Kazakh gas exported to Ukraine

Between January and October 2017, 10.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas produced in Kazakhstan, reports LS.

Over the year, the indicator has grown by 54%. For 10 months, 19.2 billion cubic meters of gas exported, which is $1.2 billion. In physical terms, exports of gas increased by 11.2% and in monetary terms by 18.6%.

The largest volume of gas was sent to Ukraine (7.1 billion cubic meters) and Russia (5.6 billion cubic meters). Also, several countries such as Switzerland, Uzbekistan, China and Poland buy Kazakhstan’s natural gas.

Recall, Kazakhstan is the 21st place in the world in terms of natural gas reserves with 1.3 trillion cubic meters, according to Statistical Review of World Energy, 2014.
