Football Federation’s President Seilda Baishakov resigned

The president of the Kazakhstan Football Federation Seilda Baishakov applied for voluntary resignation from his post, reports the federation's website.

The decision on approval or rejection of the application will consider at the nearest extraordinary electoral conference on February 10, 2018.

Seilda Baishakov elected as the President of FFK in November 2016 until November 28, 2020. As a football player, he played in the FC ‘Kairat’ (Almaty) and the national team of the Soviet Union. He has the title of Master of Sports of the USSR, Master of Sports of International Class, Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Recall, in the current FIFA rankings, the Kazakh Football team occupies the 137th place, which is below the teams of Liberia and Sudan.
