Kazakh President held a press conference following his official visit to the USA

During the press conference, Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev answered questions from representatives of domestic and foreign mass media.

In particular, Nursultan Nazarbayev spoke about the priority directions and prospects for the development of Kazakh-American relations, as well as the agreements reached in the sphere of ensuring international and regional security.

In addition, Kazakh President answered questions regarding Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the UN Security Council and the mission of our country in the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons in the world.

Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakh President:

 - Donald Trump is a businessman, a concrete person. He does not like empty words, and I like that too. We immediately understood each other, and it all went well. There was complete mutual understanding. There were no problems, on the contrary, they agreed on direct communication on all issues that were discussed. A signal to US companies will be given to work in Kazakhstan; Kazakhstan is an important country in Central Asia. Deepening cooperation with the US, we registered in our joint statement.
