Kazakh President Nazarbayev meets with Poland President, Andrzej Duda

During the conversation, Kazakh President congratulated the Poland President on the beginning of a non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council.

‘Today's meeting is a good opportunity for us to discuss our relations. Congratulations on the beginning of Poland's activities in the UN Security Council in 2018-2019’, said Kazakh President.

Nursultan Nazarbayev also noted the similarity of the positions of Kazakhstan and Poland in the work of the UN Security Council.

‘I am glad that our thoughts and directions of work in the UN Security Council coincide. I remember my visit to Warsaw and your visit to Astana last year. Such meetings bring our countries and us closer’, the Head of State said.

In turn, A. Duda expressed gratitude for the meeting and the opportunity to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation.
