Kazakhstani wins a bronze medal in PyeongChang 2018

Kazakhstani freestyle skier Yulia Galysheva won a bronze medal in the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Also, it is the first Olympic medal for Kazakhstan in Winter Olympic Games 2018.

In the Ladies' Moguls Final 1, Galysheva reached in the seventh place with the score of 75.10.  In the Final 2, Galysheva finished sixth among 12 freestyle skiers and sneaked into the Final 3. Only six athletes proceeded to the Final 3, including the Kazakhstani. Based on the rules, she had to start first.

Galysheva had a score of 77.40, providing her with the bronze medal. French Perrine Laffont claimed gold. Silver went to Canadian Dufour-Lapointe.
