6 Kazakh athletes to compete in the Winter Paralympic Games-2018

Kazakhstan's National Paralympic Committee approved the line-up of Kazakhstan's national team for participation in the Winter Paralympic Games-2018 in PyeongChang, reports the press service of the Committee.

As part of the Kazakhstan Paralympic team, six athletes and one guide who will accompany the participant with visual impairment during the skiing distance.

The Kazakhs will perform at the Games in two disciplines: ski race and biathlon, with the following members: Alexander Kolyadin, Denis Petrenko, Sergei Usoltsev, Alexander Gerlitz, Kairat Kanafin and Zhanyl Baltabayeva.

In preparation for the Paralympics 2018, Kazakhstani athletes have conducted two training camps in Germany and one in Russia. The final stage of preparation will hold in Talgar, Almaty region.

Winter Paralympic Games - 2018 in Pyeongchang begin on March 8.
