More than million tulips planted in Shymkent

Shymkent city has turned into a city of tulips, the press service of South Kazakhstan region reports.

More than a million tulips planted in the city. It is Dutch varieties of tulips of six different colours - yellow, red, blue, orange, pink and purple.

Flowers are planted in the form of geometric figures, national patterns and in the form of a city logo. After the period of blossoms, it is planned to plant various kinds of flowers that decorate the gardens and parks of Shymkent. The territory takes 14 thousand square meters.
