PM holds a meeting on regional development

Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev started a series of working meetings on achieving the target indicators for 2018 on economic growth, labor productivity, investments attraction, employment and creation of new jobs for the country's regions, reports primeminister.kz.

During the meeting, akims of Almaty, B. Baybek, and Almaty region, A. Batalov, reported on the work done to develop the AIC, tourism, trade, transport and logistics, education, health, mass entrepreneurship, industrialization, technological renewal and digitalization, and productive employment.

Ministers of National Economy, T. Suleimenov, Investments and Development, Zh. Kassymbek, Information and Communications, D. Abayev, Education and Science, Y. Sagadiyev, Culture and Sports, A. Mukhamediuly, Labor and Social Protection of the Population, M. Abylkassymova, Vice Ministers of Agriculture, G. Issayev and Healthcare, L. Aktayeva, took part in the discussions during the meeting.

The results of the first quarter have been summed up and the points of growth for 2018 have been determined. Hearing the reports of the regional akims continues.
