During the visit, the Head of State was informed about the operations of the exhibition complex, in which the open space functioned as a service center for businessmen, a venue for business forums and meetings, as well as a business incubator supporting beginner entrepreneurs from the moment the idea arose to its commercialization.

Akim of Almaty region, Amandyk Batalov, presented to Nursultan Nazarbayev information on the implementation of the programs Digital Kazakhstan, Ruhani Zhangyru, and Five Social Presidential Initiatives in the region. This was reported by the press service of Akorda.

During the meeting with representatives of the business community of the region, the Head of State noted that during 26 years of Independence the necessary conditions for the effective development of small and medium businesses are created in Kazakhstan.

"Even the Five Social Initiatives are the opportunities for business development. Construction of housing and everything related to it: the production of glass, bricks, other building materials – all these are also resources for doing business. The construction of roads, schools, hospitals, infrastructure is also a business. Entrepreneurs should use these opportunities," said the President of Kazakhstan.

Nursultan Nazarbayev drew attention to the advantages of the Almaty region, including unique natural and climatic conditions, favorable geographical location and unlimited potential for the development of the tourist cluster.

"I agitate you to work in Alakol, I was in there yesterday. There are very good opportunities. If earlier only 400 thousand people spent their vacation in the region, last year – twice as many, and this year more than a million holidaymakers are expected. There are roads, infrastructure. It is only necessary to build. Five-star hotels and good tourist facilities are already being built in Alakol. It is possible to make such excellent conditions that all Kazakhstanis will travel here," the Head of State said.

At the end of the meeting, the President of Kazakhstan set the task to develop, first of all, agricultural crops, which were traditionally grown in the Almaty region.

"Now the new sugar factories are launched, the production of sugar is increasing. 60 thousand tons of sugar are produced already, there is room for expansion. Now in the Usharal region soybean and barley are grown. A malt factory, a fruit farm, specializing in Almaty export on an industrial scale," concluded Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In addition, during the visit to the new building of the Palace of Celebrations and familiarization with its activities, the Head of State was informed about the construction of social and cultural facilities: the swimming pool 570 places, the indoor track and field athletics arena, the fitness center, the music and general education schools, and the drama theater.
