A parade of children's and youth music bands held in Astana

On June 1, a parade of children's and youth music bands held in Astana, devoted to the International Children's Day. The Ministry of Education and Science organized it. A traditional event also held in all regions of the country.

The purpose of the parade is to increase the musical culture of children and youth, the education of patriotism, the increase of prestige and the advertising of educational institutions of the country. It is a large-scale Republican action uniting all educational institutions of the country.

In the festive procession along the central streets of big and small towns, 527 thousand students and their parents and teachers took part in all the settlements of the country simultaneously. The column consisted of bands of drummers, brass bands and ensembles, majorettes, cheerleaders, choral and dance groups.
