Kazakh PM gets acquainted with work of Mangystau Entrepreneurs Service Center

As part of the working trip to Mangistau region on behalf of the Head of State, Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev visited the Mangystau Entrepreneurs Service Center in Aktau, where he got acquainted with the readiness to provide services under the new law on entrepreneurship, reports primeminister.kz.

During the inspection, the Prime Minister was shown the work of the registry, the operating room, the conference halls for training start-up entrepreneurs, the activities of the Atameken microfinance organization and the Bastau-Business school. In total, 72 people work at the service center.

Director of the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs N. Karassayev told about the activities of the Center and the measures to support local businessmen. There are two service centers under the Atameken chamber of entrepreneurs in the region: in the cities of Aktau and Zhanaozen, at the same time, the ESC staff is represented in every district of the region. In 2017, about 22 thousand services were rendered, for 5 months of this year — more than 9 thousand.

It should be noted that the ESC provides services on the principle of “single window” in the following areas: service and consulting, training in entrepreneurship and working professions under Zhana Serpin project, support of investment projects, services of ESC, taxpayer's terminal, Employment and Microcredit Center. In addition, applications for connection to public services are accepted in digital format.

Karassayev also reported that Bastau Business trainings are hold on the territory of the service center under the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs. In 2017, 930 start-ups took part in the project. During the five months of 2018, 292 volunteers were trained the basics of entrepreneurship.

Recall, the number of active entities in the sphere of small and medium business in January-April 2018 amounted to 48.6 thousand or 106.7 percent to the corresponding period of 2017.
