Alley Arbat opens in Shymkent

In the South Kazakhstan region in honor of the 20th anniversary of the capital, the alley Arbat opened.

"Shymkent is one of the largest cities of Kazakhstan after Astana and Almaty. Today we open the alley Astana, which adorn our city. Arbat to become a place for recreation, where residents and visitors of the city will be able to plunge into the saving coolness in the summer. I congratulate you on this event, I wish everyone good luck and prosperity," the akim of region Zh. Tuimebayev said.

In the territory of Arbat, all conditions for cyclists are created, benches are installed. Work was carried out on the landscaping of the territory of 3600 square meters, planted about 700 seedlings of fir, chestnut, white birch and 1000 roses.

For lighting Arbat 76 lamps and 45 torches are installed.
