The official opening of the AIFC starts with the participation of Kazakh President

In Astana, the official presentation of the Astana International Financial Center starts with the participation of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The official opening of the financial center is the main part of the Astana Finance Days forum. Crown Prince Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, heads of international companies, experts from scientific and analytical centers attends the solemn event.

The President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Constitutional Law on the establishment of AIFC in December 2015.

The purpose of the AIFC is the formation of a leading center for the provision of financial services of international level. For the first time at the post-Soviet level, the principles of English law have been introduced here. The official language of the financial center will be English.

The mission of the center is to assist in attracting investments into the country's economy by creating an attractive environment, developing the securities market of Kazakhstan, ensuring integration with international capital markets.

Recall, this year it is planned to register about 100 companies in the AIFC. By July 1, their number has already reached 50. It is expected that by 2020 the number of registered companies to exceed 500.
