Kazakh PM participates in the inauguration ceremony of Turkish President

On behalf of the Head of State, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev took part in the solemn ceremony of inauguration of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports primeminister.kz.

The ceremony of accepting the office by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan was attended by 22 heads of state, 28 prime ministers and parliament speakers, as well as 6 secretary-generals of international organizations.

Recall, the presidential and parliamentary elections took place June 24 in Turkey. The current Head of State Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following the results of the counting of 100% of bulletins, outvoted the presidential elections with 26.3 million votes — 52,58%. The Justice and Development Party led by Erdogan had the largest number of votes at the parliamentary elections. The national voting changed the system of the government in the country, turning Turkey into a presidential country.

In 2017 the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkey, comparing to the previous year, grew by 28% and amounted to $1.9 billion, with exports — $1.145 billion. For January-March of this year, the trade turnover reached $412.9 million.
