Bakytzhan Sagintayev holds a meeting on attracting investments, developing industrialization and tax policy

July 12 in Ukimet Uyi, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the current state of affairs within the project management of the Third Modernization of Kazakhstan, reports primeminister.kz.

At the meeting, the main indicators of growth for the first half of the year and reserves for further development in such areas as investment attraction, defense and aerospace industry, tax policy, basic industry were discussed. The issues of project management of the Akimats of Akmola region and Almaty city were also considered.

In particular, reports on achievement of target indicators for the six months of 2018 and plans for the second half-year were heard from Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry Beibut Atamkulov – regarding the questions under his responsibility, Minister for Investments and Development Zhenis Kassymbek – on attracting investments and developing basic industrialization, and Minister of Finance Bakhyt Sultanov – on increasing the collection of taxes.

The Akims of the Akmola region Malik Murzalin and the city of Almaty Bauyrzhan Baibek reported on the measures taken and plans for 2018 to develop transport and logistics, agribusiness, tourism, trade, education, health, mass entrepreneurship, industrialization, digitalization, investment attraction and productive employment.
