Conditions of opening the flight Astana - Hong Kong is discussed

Aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Hong Kong met in Astanа to discuss air communication between the two countries, reports the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry for Innovations and Development of Kazakhstan.

The delegation of Hong Kong headed by the Chief Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Transport and Housing of the Government of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong, Wye Sam Ay, in talks with the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the World RK Talgat Lustaev expressed interest in exploring the possibility of increasing passenger and cargo traffic between Almaty and Hong Kong airports. Also, during the meeting, the conditions of opening the flight Astana-Hong Kong were discussed.

At present, direct regular air services are established between the countries on the route Almaty-Hong Kong with a frequency of 3 flights a week, carried out by the airline "Air Astana".

In addition, at the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of education. President of the International Aviation Academy of Hong Kong Vivian Carfay Cheung made a presentation about the educational institution and training programs for pilots and aviation specialists.
