Nurbakh Rustemov met in Belgrade with the President of Serbia Alexander Vucic

On August 28, 2018, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nurbakh Rustemov met in Belgrade with the President of Serbia Alexander Vucic, reports MFA's press service.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of key issues of bilateral cooperation, including in the trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as international issues. Alexander Vucic received the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan, as well as to participate as an honorary guest in the VI Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions on October 10-11, 2018 in Astana.

The Kazakh diplomat briefed the interlocutor on the current social and economic situation in the country, the main provisions of the program documents, aimed at further development of our country, the 5 mega-trends announced by the leader of Kazakhstan at the last Astana Economic Forum and the results of the Caspian summit in Aktau.

Alexander Vucic noted that due to its thoughtful foreign policy, Kazakhstan deserved great authority and recognition in the international community. Serbia intends to further actively strengthen the political dialogue and develop trade and economic relations with Kazakhstan on a mutually beneficial basis.
