Turkey to host next World Nomad Games in 2020

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said while meeting with his Turkish Counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The 2018 World Nomad Games are held in Kyrgyzstan for the third time.

Games will be conducted in 37 sports disciplines, including 16 Kyrgyz national sports and 21 sports disciplines of other nomadic peoples. Among them there are 8 kinds of equestrian competitions for different distances, 13 variants of wrestling, 5 disciplines on shooting from a traditional bow, three intellectual competitions, and also competitions on national hunting with hounds and hunting birds.

Over 2000 athletes from more than 60 countries attend the Games.

Recall, the Games ensure immersion into the ancient culture of nomads.
