Bakytzhan Sagintayev meets with representatives of China's financial sector

September 13 in Ukimet Uyi the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev met with representatives of the financial system of China led by Head of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission Guo Shuqing.

At the meeting, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between the financial systems of the two countries were discussed, including within the framework of the Astana International Financial Center.

The China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission was established through the merger in April 2018 of China's banking and insurance regulators: the Banking Regulatory Commission and the Insurance Regulatory Commission. The merger is considered the largest reform of China's financial regulation system over the past fifteen years and is designed to improve the efficiency and coordination of Chinese financial regulation.
