Following the consideration regarding the harvesting campaign at the meeting of the Government, the Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed to take control of the timely completion of work, reports the press service of the Prime Minister.

Having heard the reports of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Umirzak Shukeyev and regional akims, the Prime Minister noted that due to rainy weather the harvest campaign in the grain-growing regions is 20-25% behind schedule in 2018 and lower than in 2017.

Bakytzhan Sagintayev instructed to take control of the timely completion of harvesting, taking advantage of favorable weather conditions.

The Ministry of Energy was instructed to consider issues related to the allocation of additional diesel fuel to the regions, and also to work out the proposal of the Akmola Region’s Akimat on the transfer of the fuel delivery schedule from October to September. Control is assigned to the First Deputy Prime Minister Askar Mamin.

Daily monitoring and coordination of harvesting are assigned to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Umirzak Shukeyev.
