Kazakh President meets with the High Representative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations Nasir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser, reports

The head of state thanked the guest for participating in the Congress and noted the continued support of the Kazakhstan initiative by the Alliance of Civilizations.

- As a multi-faith state, Kazakhstan contributes to the development of interfaith dialogue. This coincides with the goals of the organization you represent, said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In turn, Nasir Abdulaziz al-Nasser thanked the Head of State for the opportunity to take part in the forum and stressed the special role of Kazakhstan in developing mutual understanding between cultures in the world.

- This is my third participation in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. Before, I did not have to meet with representatives of so many faiths. I highly appreciate the efforts of your country in the development of the dialogue among civilizations, - said the High Representative of the Alliance.

During the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded Nasir Abdulaziz al-Nasser with the Order “Dostyk” of the II degree for his merits in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation among nations and preserving mutual consent in society.
