Kazakh President visits the Energy Efficiency Center

Nursultan Nazarbayev got acquainted with the work of the Energy Efficiency Center in Aktobe. The main tasks of the Center to demonstrate alternative energy technologies and to teach the population how to provide residential buildings with hot water, heat and electricity, reports the press service of Akorda.

The building of the Center is equipped with solar panels, a gas piston station, a geothermal system, also wind turbines. The Center for Monitoring the Life Support of the City and the Engineering Networks of the Housing and Public Utilities, the PSC, the Center for Operational Management of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Region, and the Akim of the Almaty district of Aktobe are located and functioned here.

Nursultan Nazarbayev positively noted the introduced innovations and stressed the importance of using green technologies in practice, which were demonstrated at the international exhibition EXPO-2017.

In addition, the Akim of Aktobe informed the Head of State about the development of the regional center and the execution of instructions, including the creation of Aktobe agglomeration, SmartCity Aktobe and the public space of the city.

In conclusion, the President gave a number of instructions for the further development of Aktobe.
