Seoul hosts Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum

The 11th Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum has been recently held in Seoul, South Korea, said a message from Uzbek Foreign Ministry6 reports Trend news agency.

An Uzbek delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Dilshod Akhatov took part in the forum.

The Uzbek delegation also consisted of representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources and the State Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, UzDaily.uz reported citing the ministry.

The forum mainly focused on the development of Korea’s multilateral cooperation with Central Asian countries in the field of health care, environmental protection, logistics and transport, as well as efficient use of water resources in the region and measures to save the Aral Sea.

As part of the visit to Seoul, the Uzbek delegation also held bilateral meetings and negotiations with the leadership of the Foreign Ministry and the Korea Foundation.
