The head of state took part in the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council

The following presidents took part in the meeting: the Republic of Belarus - A. Lukashenko, the Kyrgyz Republic - S. Jeenbekov, the Russian Federation - V. Putin, the Republic of Tajikistan - E. Rahmon, Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia N. Pashinyan, Acting Secretary General of the Organization V.Semerikov, informsthe press service of Akorda.

The members of the Council discussed the problems of international and regional security, the issues of interaction of the CSTO member states in the format of the Organization and in the international arena.

Opening the meeting, the Head of State expressed his gratitude to all members of the Collective Security Council for personal participation in the session and spoke about the order of work.

The President of Kazakhstan noted that during the meeting, the results of the chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the CSTO in 2018 will be summed up, as well as topical aspects of ensuring the collective security of the participating countries will be discussed.

In addition, members of the Council will exchange views on issues on the international agenda and further strengthen interaction within the CSTO.

The session will also highlight the priorities of Kyrgyzstan for the chairmanship in the next intersessional perio
