The Head of State met with the Prime Minister of Slovakia

The President of Kazakhstan met with the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini, the press service of Akorda reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of relations and prospects for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Slovakia.

The head of state noted that the visit of the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic will serve as an impetus for further strengthening interstate relations and deepening cooperation in various sectors of the economy.

- There are good relations between our countries. During your visit, you have already met with Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev. A business delegation also arrived in Kazakhstan with you. I believe that your visit will give a new impetus to the development of mutual relations, - said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In turn, Peter Pellegrini stressed the important role of our country in establishing an intergovernmental dialogue in the world.

- Kazakhstan has great authority in the field of international relations. We highly appreciate the stabilizing role of Kazakhstan in solving many international issues, ”said the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

P.Pellegrini also focused on the importance of increasing trade and economic relations between the two countries and expressed interest in developing cooperation in the agro-industrial, industrial sector, transport and logistics industry, including within the framework of the initiative “One belt, one way”.
