Kazakhstan-Iran consular consultations held in Tehran

The Kazakhstan delegation, consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, took part in the eighth meeting of the consular consultations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan reports.

The Kazakhstan delegation was headed by Tauboldy Umbetbaev, Director of the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ali Asgar Mohammadi, Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.

During the event, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular field.

In addition, consular legal and visa issues were considered, as well as the protection of the rights and interests of the citizens of the two countries. In particular, the parties agreed to issue visas for drivers of Kazakhstan transport companies for 1 year with a stay of up to 30 days each time.

According to the results of the two-day work of the consular consultations between Kazakhstan and Iran, the parties signed the relevant Final Protocol.
