Russian cosmonaut Sergei Prokopiev, European astronaut Alexander Gerst and American astronaut Serena Aunion-Chensellor successfully returned to Earth from the International Space Station. They landed in the Kazakh steppe in the descent capsule of the Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft, reports from the Mission Control Center.

“There is a landing,” the inscription on the big screen in the main hall of the MCC was highlighted.

The cosmonauts delivered to Earth evidence necessary for the investigation of the causes of the "hole" in the Soyuz by the Federal Space Agency and the investigating authorities. These were samples of sealant taken at the time of Russian cosmonauts in open space, micrometeorite protection plates and smears from the surface of the household compartment.
