Education Ministry posts new online Kyrgyz language courses

The Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan, together with partner organizations, has developed more than 20 new online Kyrgyz language courses. The press service of the ministry reported.

According to it, the courses include about 400 video lessons. They are available on the Internet at https://itkg.emektep.info and www.ilimelim.kg .

In addition, more than 200 lessons on the topic «Information Technologies» (www.gcflearnfree.org ) have been translated, about 1,000 books in Kyrgyz have been digitized, a repository of educational resources for Kyrgyz-language schools and universities has been created (www.okuma.kg ).

The Ministry of Education added that they have translated and edited 20,087 new articles for Wikipedia in the Kyrgyz language.
