A concert of the «Academy of Soloists» state orchestra will be on March 14 at 19:30 in the organ hall of the Kazakh National University of Arts.

The concert program will feature works by American composer Leonard Bernstein. Viewers will be able to enjoy the sound of  «Serenade» (after reading Plato's «Pir» dialogue) for violin solo, harp, strings and percussion. The soloist of this evening is the laureate of international competitions Kasenov Diyar.

The concert will be attended by the choir of the Kazakh National University of Arts under the leadership of the talented choirmaster Batyrzhan Smakov. The mixed choir and orchestra will feature Leonard Bernstein's immortal masterpiece - the Chichester Psalms. This work is the rarest, most ingenious, which is the most important milestone in the composer's work. This composition is like a modern mix of academic music with elements of rock and smash hit.

The concert will be conducted by the main guest conductor of the orchestra - Michael Kirchhoff.
