Askar Mamin meets with Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin met with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, reports the press service of PM.

The prospects for the development of industrial cooperation between enterprises of Kazakhstan and Russia in the implementation of joint projects in the automotive industry, agricultural engineering, aircraft technology, development of regional service centers, as well as projects in the defense industry were discussed at the meeting.

During the meeting, it was noted that the development of a program of joint action in the field of industrial cooperation is underway.

The program provides for the implementation of certain joint investment projects, including the production of Kirovets tractors and components for them jointly with Petersburgsky Tractorny Zavod JSC and Agromashholding KZ JSC, components for KAMAZ vehicles, oil and dry voltage transformers up to 110kV, the project of Asia Auto Kazakhstan JSC on cooperation with PJSC AVTOVAZ on the construction of a car factory.

As the Prime Minister Mamin noted, “the implementation of the program will give a serious impetus to the building up of bilateral investment cooperation, the development of trade and economic relations between our countries.”
