Chair of the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy appointed

By order of the Minister of Energy, Serik Suleimenov was appointed chair of the Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control Committee.

Suleimenov was born in 1966 in the city of Almaty. He graduated from the Kirov Kazakh State University, Al-Farabi Kazakh State University.

He began his career in 1990 as a graduate student at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics at the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR in Almaty. In various years he worked in the commercial sector, has experience in the Presidential Administration and the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. In 2013-2015, he worked as chair of the board of Kyzylorda Electricity Distribution Grid Company JSC. From October 2015 to the present, he has served as deputy akim of Kyzylorda region.
