Kassym-Jomart Tokayev lays flowers to Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Moscow

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and honored the memory of the heroes of World War II. At the end of the ceremony, the Head of State held a solemn march to review the passage of the Guard of Honor.

The memorial architectural complex "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier", built in 1967 in honor of the soldiers who fought in the battle for Moscow, is located near the walls of the Kremlin in Alexander Garden. The complex has been granted the status of an object of cultural heritage of Russia, as well as the National Memorial of Military Glory.
