President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed several laws

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed a number of laws on the status of the city of Baikonur, the provision of gratuitous military technical assistance, and transport, the press service of Akorda reports.

The head of state signed:
  • The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on the Status of the City of Baikonur, the Procedure for Forming and the Status of its Executive Bodies of December 23, 1995"
  • Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the Provision of Gratuitous Military Technical Assistance”
  • The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Transport Issues,” aimed at improving transport legislation
  • The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Transfer of Functions of Central and (or) Local Executive Bodies to Competitive Environment,” aimed at regulating the transfer of some functions to the competitive environment and giving the right to secondary education organizations to rental of recreational and sports facilities
