Anar Abulkassova appointed chair of Science Committee

By the order of the Minister of Education and Science, Anar Abulkassova was appointed chair of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press service of the prime minister of Kazakhstan reports.

Abulkassova was born in 1976 in the North Kazakhstan region. She graduated from the Karaganda State University in 1997 with a degree in journalism, in 2000 she graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as a Master of Journalism.

She began her career in 1997 as a teacher in the journalism department of the Buketov Karaganda State University.

In 2000–2004, she was a teacher, senior teacher of North Kazakhstan University.

In 2004–2009, she was a senior lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science, Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University.

From 2009 to 2015, she worked in Security Council of Kazakhstan: she held the positions of an expert of the Secretariat, sector manager, consultant to the Analytical Division, head of the Situation Center.

From July 2015 to the present, she served as head of the Sector of the Analytical Department of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
