Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulates Kazakhstanis on of Eid al-Fitr, reports the press service of Akorda.

Dear compatriots!

I sincerely congratulate all Muslims on the sacred holiday of Eid al-Fitr!

This holiday concludes the important month of Ramadan for believers, when such traits of Islam as philanthropy, mercy and compassion are especially visible in their deep meaning.

The days of Eid al-Fitr Muslims devote to the care of loved ones, the support of the needy, their own moral improvement.

Good thoughts and good deeds help to strengthen mutual understanding and harmony, unite people in the name of achieving common goals.

For centuries Kazakhstan has been a territory of peace and creation, respect for faith and moral values, tolerance and good neighborliness.

The teachings of Islam together with respect for national traditions and love for the motherland are fully consistent with the idea of the spiritual revival of our society.

May the atmosphere of peace, unity and tranquility always reign in our country, may the homes of all Kazakhstanis be filled with happiness and prosperity!

Happy Eid al-Fitr!
