Prime Minister Theresa May send a congratulatory telegram to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev

A congratulatory telegram from Prime Minister of Great Britain Teresa May on the occasion of his election as President of Kazakhstan was received in the name of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

“In my welcome letter of March 27, I noted the growing strengthening of British-Kazakhstan relations. I am pleased that since that moment the ties between our countries have become even closer,” Teresa May writes.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Kingdom noted the importance of further developing bilateral cooperation.

“I am confident that during your presidency, the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan will continue to cooperate in the political, economic and cultural spheres, as well as that the relations between our countries will continue to be strengthened,” the message says.
