Housing and infrastructure of Arys to be restored in shortest time possible — Askar Mamin

At the meeting of the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Askar Mamin, Vice Premier Zhenis Kassymbek, Minister of Healthcare Yelzhan Birtanov and Minister of Internal Affairs Yerlan Turgumbayev reported on the work carried out at the emergency site in Arys of the Turkestan region and the provision of medical care to the injured.

“All forces mobilized. Residents of the city of Arys were evacuated,” said Mamin. “Unfortunately, two people died. I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends.”

Prime Minister Askar Mamin reported that on the instructions of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Government Commission will assess the damage caused to housing, social and infrastructure facilities, and vital facilities of the city.

“The restoration of the housing stock and infrastructure of Arys will be carried out as soon as possible,” the head of Government emphasized.

The necessary funds will be allocated and appropriate decisions will be taken.

“All citizens of our country are concerned about the state of the citizens of Arys and provide all possible assistance. In this regard, I urge everyone to support the initiative of the Nur Otan party to raise funds in order to assist the residents of Arys,” said Askar Mamin.
