Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives Lorenzo Simonelli

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives President - Chief Executive Officer of Baker Hughes, a GE company Lorenzo Simonelli, reports the press service of Akorda.

During the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the implementation of joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy, including engineering and the energy sector. The President thanked Lorenzo Simonelli for participating in the Foreign Investors Council and noted the positive activities of his company in Kazakhstan.

- We have a rich experience of successful interaction in various fields. “I think our fruitful cooperation will continue,” the Head of State said.

In turn, Lorenzo Simonelli stressed that the company is actively working on the localization and implementation of new projects.

- It is a great pleasure for me to return to Kazakhstan, which has already become my second home, again. We are discovering new areas of our business. I think that Kazakhstan is a vivid example of the successful use of the potential of our companies for the development of the infrastructure of the entire country, the businessman said.
