Kassym-Jomart Tokayev meets with the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Suma Chakrabarti. It is reported by the press service of Akorda.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the EBRD is today one of the largest financial institutions investing in the economy of Kazakhstan. The head of state highly appreciated the long-term work of the bank in our country.

- I witnessed the start of your activity in Kazakhstan and was familiar with all your predecessors. “Your bank has implemented a number of successful projects in our country, and I think that it can be proud of it,” said the President.

In turn, Suma Chakrabarti noted that Kazakhstan is among the five largest partners of the EBRD and expressed hope for continued fruitful cooperation.
