Gulshara Abdykalikova visits republican educational youth camp "Zeren-2019"

July 10, 2019, Deputy Prime Minister Gulshara Abdykalikova met with participants of the Zeren-2019 Republican Educational Youth Camp. It is organized in the framework of the Year of Youth on the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The mission of the project is to launch real, sustainable socially oriented business projects in all regions of Kazakhstan.

In her greeting speech, Abdykalikova draw attention to the words of the First President – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, “The youth is our future. Our task is to teach them to live in the modern world.”

The deputy prime minister noted that now all conditions have been created in Kazakhstan to unleash the intellectual potential of young people.

According to the Roadmap for the Year of Youth, 89 events are being implemented in all spheres of the country's life. The main focus is on the specific support of young people.

The issues of providing housing through the allocation of 9 thousand rental apartments for three years for working youth in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent are being resolved.

The Zhas Maman project provides for the improvement of the material and technical base of 180 colleges and 20 universities. The development of youth entrepreneurship is implemented through the Zhas Kasipker project, within the framework of which a financial support is provided to youth start-up projects of up to 505 thousand tenge.

At the end of the event, Gulshara Abdykalikova presented prizes to the authors for the best projects in the field of agriculture, industry and digitalization. The total prize fund of the project competition is 15 million tenge.

In general, Zeren – 2019 runs in 3 seasons, 9 days from 3 to 30 July 2019. In total, more than 600 boys and girls take part in it.
