President of Kazakhstan held a meeting with akims

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Akorda held a working meeting with akims of regions, cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty and Shymkent, reports the press service of Akorda.

In his speech, the President set a number of tasks for the akims to quickly resolve issues of socio-economic development of the regions.

The head of state instructed the corps of akims to systematize the demands of the population and substantively work on their decision, as well as reflect their needs for regional social road maps.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed that regional authorities should take responsibility for stability in regions and cities.

In addition, the President instructed to carry out the necessary work to prepare for the upcoming harvest, to take measures to prevent and eliminate steppe and forest fires, as well as to ensure the smooth operation of housing and communal facilities during the heating season.

In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev assigned control of the implementation of all the tasks set today to the Presidential Administration.

After the meeting, the Head of State received akims of regions and cities of republican significance.
