Restoration carried out in 1469 houses in Arys

During the day, builders have commissioned 109 more dwellings in Arys. According to the Committee on Construction, Housing and Utilities, the number of renovated houses by July 18 has reached 1,469. Work continues on 4,698 individual housing projects and multi-family residential buildings.

In total, 207 construction companies of 17 regions of the country and cities of republican importance are involved in the restoration of the housing stock of Arys. These are about 6,868 workers and 265 units of special equipment.

It is worth noting, after the incident at a military training ground, 85% of all houses in Arys were damaged. According to the First Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Kairbek Uskenbayev, daily restoration works cover from 100 to 250 houses. On behalf of Elbasy and the Head of State, all damaged and destroyed objects must be commissioned before Aug. 1, 2019.
