Beibut Atamkulov receives Deputy foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea

Kazakh foreign Minister Beibut Atamkulov has received Deputy foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea Yoon sung-GU, press service of the ministry. 

At the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-In to Kazakhstan in April this year, as well as the upcoming visit of the Minister to Seoul this month.

The sides noted the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries and the prospects for the development of relations in the political, economic, social and other fields of cooperation.

The diplomats of the two countries expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of bilateral contacts and agreed to make efforts for the successful implementation of bilateral and multilateral events planned before the end of the year.

In 2018, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea exceeded 3.9 billion US dollars.

The volume of Kazakhstan's investments in South Korea is 3.86 billion US dollars, Korean investments in our country – 1.6 billion US dollars.
